HELP! I Have Dry Scalp!

Tis the season folks. We are in the heart of winter which to some of us means itchy, flaky dry scalp. Our everyday shampoo/conditioner isn't cutting it and you need some help. We got you covered! Here are some products we recommend to cut the itch:

Biolage R.A.W Scalp Care Anti-Dandruff

Recently Revelry started carrying Biolage R.A.W line. It's sulfate free, paraben free, vegan and natural-origin products.

Their scalp care line includes an exfoliating shampoo, a moisturizing conditioner and a soothing scalp oil. These cost around $23-30 depending on where you buy them. We currently are stocking this at Revelry for $20. The R.A.W line is amazing and we have been getting great client feed back from it so I included this as an option.

Malibu Scalp Wellness

I have mentioned Malibu in previous posts so you know I had to include it here. This line we use at our backbar. It's sulfate free, vegan and has essential oils from spearmint and eucalyptus. You can absolutely smell these in the wash and leaves a tingly sensation on the scalp when massaged in. This line also has a scalp treatment packet. It's a powder substance that's sprinkled and massaged into the scalp and then rinsed out. This line is always highly recommended.

Coconut Oil Treatment

I know, I know! You hear about coconut oil all the time but its truly magical stuff for cracked, dry skin. On wet hair massage a dollop of coconut oil into your scalp using the palm of your fingers. Allow it to soak in for at least 5 minutes and rinse.
